Monthly Payment Plan
- What devices are eligible on a payment plan?
- All Samsung branded cellphone and tablets that are available for purchase from Digi are eligible on a monthly payment plan. You can review the list of available devices by visiting Digi website at (insert new link to device page) or a Digi store near you.
- How does the installment plan work?
- Our installment plan allows you to spread the cost of your device over 6 to 24 months. You can choose a plan that suits your budget, and the monthly payments will be added to your Digi Belize bill.
- What are the requirements to qualify for the device on a monthly payment plan?
To qualify, you will need:
- A valid ID (Social Security Card)
- One Reference (Name, contact number and valid email address)
- An Employment Letter
- Sign a Device and Service agreement for a new or existing service. This can be DigiONE, DigiNet, DigiTel, DigiCell Postpaid Plan or Data Only Plan with a monthly recurring charge.
- Existing customers must have an account in good credit standing (no arrears)
- Are devices bought at Digi usable on any mobile network?
- Samsung devices bought on a monthly payment plan are for use on the Digi network only. For roaming abroad, contact us to unlock.
Warranty FAQ
- How long is the warranty on my device purchase from Digi?
- Devices purchased from BTL/Digi is covered for a 90-day warranty period except for Samsung devices which carry a 1-year warranty period from the date of purchase. Accessories are not covered under this warranty.
- You are encouraged to hold on to your receipt and the original device packaging and contents (box, chargers, headset, etc.) in case of warranty claims.
- How do I claim a warranty?
- To claim your warranty, visit any Digi Belize store with your device, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue. Our technical team will assess the device and determine the next steps, which may include repair or replacement.
- If a product defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its discretion, BTL/Digi will either:
(1) repair the defected product at no charge; or
(2) replace the Device with another Device with comparable functionality.
- What does the warranty cover?
- The warranty period covers devices which are under normal conditions and use, fails to operate properly due to any defects in materials and workmanship. This Warranty does not cover issues caused by damage due to shipment, handling, storage, accident, impact, abuse, or misuse.
- What is not covered under the warranty?
- The warranty does not cover damage due to accidents, misuse, unauthorized repairs, or natural wear and tear.
- Any damage caused by actions of intent, such as bumping, hammering, etc.; computer malfunction; human error, such as losing the product, improper storage, etc.; or other abnormal uses.
- Any damage caused by modification (installation, attachment, application of coating(s), extension, modification, reparation, and disassembly).
- Any damage caused by a computer virus.
- Any damage resulting from physical/electronic/electromagnetic pressure and interference, unstable or misused power supply, lightning and static electricity, etc.
- Any damage caused by exposure to improper environments for the specified device, such as high temperature, high humidity, etc.
- Any wireless device owned or operated outside Belize.
- Claimed obsolescence of the Wireless Device including technological obsolescence.
- How long is the repair process?
- The estimated repair time is 6 to 15 business days from the date the device was returned to BTL/Digi. A temporary phone may be offered for use until your Device is repaired or replaced.
Device Compatibility with Network Bands
- Will my device work on the Digi Belize network?
- For optimal performance, your device should support the following network bands:
- 4G LTE: Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz)
- 3G: Band 5 (850 MHz), Band 2 (1900 MHz)
- 2G: Band 5 (850 MHz), Band 2 (1900 MHz)
- For optimal performance, your device should support the following network bands:
- How can I check if my device is compatible?
- You can check your device’s specifications on the Digi website, the manufacturer website or in the device settings. If you’re still unsure, feel free to visit a Digi store or contact customer service for assistance.
- What should I do if my device is not compatible?
- If your device is not compatible with our network bands, you may experience limited or no service. We recommend purchasing a device from our range of Digi-certified devices to ensure full compatibility and performance on our network.
